Orphée  M.A. Charpentier

Come experience French Baroque Opera at its best with Charpentier’s Orphée. A musical masterpiece that follows the story of Orpheus traveling to the Underworld to retrieve his lost love, Eurydice, this semi-staged production will feature Dallas’ own Avant Chamber Ballet.

Sung in French with English supertitles. This production will be approximately 90 minutes with intermission.

Rinaldo  G.F. Handel

Join the American Baroque Opera Co. in a fully staged production of Handel’s Rinaldo, his first Italian opera written for the London stage. This story of love, war, and redemption, set during the Crusades, features some of Handel’s most beloved arias, including ‘Lascia ch’io pianga’. Come experience the intimacy of baroque opera, up close and personal, with beautiful costumes, sets, and dance, in a collaboration with Ballet Dallas.

Sung in Italian with English supertitles. This production will be approximately 2 hours 40 minutes with intermission.

St. John Passion  J.S. Bach

One of the great musical monuments of Western classical music, St. John Passion was J.S. Bach’s most dramatic work, and the closest thing he ever wrote to opera. Experience the vivid storytelling of Bach in a one night only concert event, with Derek Chester as the Evangelist, and Ryan Kuster as Jesus.

Don Quixote  G.P. Telemann

In a first for Dallas audiences, American Baroque Opera Co. is excited to present a puppet opera in collaboration with Lone Star Puppet Theater. Telemann’s hysterical comic opera, based on one of the many stories of Don Quixote, will be a concert event not to be missed!
